FUSSIERE
The vineyard is situated on the best
exposed slopes of the MARANGES villages near Santenay.
This wine is specially made at a low temperature for its red fruit aromas and very round tannin, in order to achieve a pleasant wine that may be drank young. It can be kept for up to 10 years.
GRAPE VARIETY : exclusively 25 year old
PINOT NOIR vines.
SURFACE AREA : 1.25 Hectares
PRODUCTION :
6500 bottles per year.
TERROIR : CLAY-LIMESTONE SOIL.
This wine has various complex aromas
with a hint of raspberry. It has a deep bright crimson
colour. The tannins are smooth and silky. It is fat and
light at the same time and easy to drink.
This MARANGES LA FUSSIERE wine is ideal served with a starter or roast poultry.
